Why Emancipation?
An enslaved mindset allows external priorities, circumstances, expectations, and conditions to govern how we think, reason, and live. An emancipated mindset functions from within, through the sufficiency and logic of the Spirit of Christ. Emancipation is a change in what governs our lives.

Our Foundation
We recognize God as self-existent and the source of eternal life. We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers are established as a new creation, empowered by grace and called to live as a royal priesthood. At the heart of our teaching is learning to live from the sufficiency and logic of the Spirit of Christ within us.
Marriage & Relationship Education
Our relationship education follows a biblical framework defining marriage as the union of one man born male and one woman born female. Our materials teach from this understanding while welcoming respectful engagement with our educational community.

Kourtney King
Kourtney King is an educator, author, performer, coach, and Relationship Logic Strategist. She founded The Emancipation Center to bring together biblical reasoning, education, the arts, community experiences, and practical frameworks for life.

Celesa
Emancipation Coach | Programs & Classes
Celesa helps support the development and coordination of programs, classes, curriculum, scheduling, and learning experiences throughout The Emancipation Center. She also helps ensure that our classes and programs are organized, purposeful, and aligned with the Center’s overall direction.
Justin
Emancipation Coach | External Relations & Partnerships
Justin helps develop relationships between The Emancipation Center and the organizations, institutions, and communities we serve. His work includes building partnerships, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and representing our work to schools, businesses, healthcare and rehabilitation organizations, and other institutions. He also helps strengthen public awareness of how people and organizations can engage with the Center.

Emancipation Coach | Member & Student Experience
Nicole helps support the experience of members and students throughout The Emancipation Center. Her work includes helping people get oriented, navigate the community, locate resources, participate in classes and programs, and receive the support they need as they engage with the Center.
Alex
Emancipation Coach | Creative Design & Strategy
Alex helps support the creative development and strategic growth of The Emancipation Center. His work includes developing creative concepts, designing resources and experiences, researching trends, analyzing information, and helping shape strategies that support the Center’s programs, communities, and initiatives. He also helps develop innovative ways to communicate ideas, engage members, and bring the Center’s vision to life.
Mikala
Emancipation Coach | Enrollment, Growth & Community Engagement
Mikala helps welcome new members and students to The Emancipation Center. She assists people interested in joining our communities, enrolling in classes and programs, and discovering opportunities available through the Center. She also helps organize and facilitate community gatherings, events, and experiences that bring people together and build relationships.
